The town of Seaton is just a 10 min journey away, but during the summer season why not leave the car and explore the area by local bus which leaves from outside the general store opposite. Alternatively you could walk

More seasoned walkers may want to try the walk to Branscombe; an energetic walk to Sidmouth or the Axe Valley Undercliff route to Lyme Regis. Maps and suggestions are available from the Tourist Information office in Seaton.
If the fascinating World Heritage beaches are not enough for you, bird-watching, golf, sailing, fishing and horse riding are nearby. Just 7 miles down the coast is the pretty town of Lyme Regis with its quaint shops and the glorious Cobb harbour where the films ‘Persuasion’ and ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’ were made.
The villages and towns of East Devon and Dorset and the historic Cathedral City of Exeter are within easy reach, both by road and by public transport.
