The town of Seaton is just a 10 min journey away,
but during the summer season why not take a trip on
the local Land Train which takes a gentle journey through unspoilt countryside. The stop off point is opposite the Apartment. Alternatively you could walk
the coastal path which is just over 2 miles and provides stunning coastal views.
More seasoned walkers may want to try the walk to Branscombe; an energetic walk to Sidmouth or the Axe Valley Undercliff route to Lyme Regis. Maps and suggestions are available from the Tourist Information office in Seaton.
If the fascinating World Heritage beaches are not enough for you, bird-watching, golf, sailing, fishing and horse riding are nearby. Just 7 miles down the coast is the pretty town of Lyme Regis with its quaint shops and the glorious Cobb harbour where the films ‘Persuasion’ and ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’ were made.
The villages and towns of East Devon and Dorset and the historic Cathedral City of Exeter are within easy reach, both by road and by public transport.
